Narti has been providing, free of charge, a copy of the book entitled Navigating through a strange land..... to each patient treated at this facility who was diagnosed with cancer of the brain (Northwest Arkansas Radiation Therapy Institute). The book has been well received by patients and their families and has allowed them to adjust more graciously to all the variables of life and survival that go with an illness of this nature. The book is strongly recommended for these patients. (99' to 2003')
Excellent book! While my husband was at Duke, I found this book in the library. It helped my family immensely as we read other people's experiences with a glioblastoma (Goodreads). (2022).
“This is a really great book for anyone with a loved one suffering the devastation of brain cancer or suffering themselves. My father was diagnosed with a grade 4 tumor. I bought several books: While all of them were informative, this one was the most helpful.”
