This volume is meant to be a self-help book for people with brain tumors and their families. However, it has much that might be helpful for health care professionals, especially those just entering the field.... It will be very useful for chaplains or chaplaincy students who are encountering brain tumor patients for the first time.
Excellent book! While my husband was at Duke, I found this book in the library. It helped my family immensely as we read other people's experiences with a glioblastoma (Goodreads). (2022).
This is a really great book for anyone with a loved one suffering the devastation of brain cancer or suffering themselves. My father was diagnosed with a grade 4 tumor. I bought several books: While all of them were informative, this one was the most helpful.

Tricia’s work is dedicated to the brave patients and families who’ve shared their truth so that others might feel seen.
